VLOG: Shop ’till you drop at Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville, Alabama

By Katie Wright

Hey everyone! Katie here, back again with my beautiful mom for a day of shopping at Bridge Street Town Centre for iHeartHsv.com. With over 70 shops and restaurants, as well as a 14-screen theater and The Westin Huntsville on premises (fun fact – that’s the state of Alabama’s FIRST Westin), there is no shortage of things to do at Bridge Street.

Shopping

Mom and I started off in some of my favorite stores at Bridge Street. We swatched a few new products at Ulta, drooled over the purses and shoes in DSW, and tried on some pretty summer clothes at Loft. With upscale shops like Kate Spade, Michael Kors, and Anthropologie alongside more affordable stores like H&M, Old Navy, and New York and Company, there’s something at Bridge Street for every budget.

Entertainment

For those with kids, Bridge Street has several kid-friendly areas. There is a train that takes you past the shops, over the cobblestone bridge, and along the lake for only $3.00 per person. There is also a pop jet fountain that runs during the summer months that the kids just love, as well as a fanciful carousel where you can hop aboard a fancy pony or a fierce tiger for only $2.00! Since mom and I are a bit older than the kids running around outside, we decided to catch a movie at Monaco Pictures. We love going to Privè, the 21+ movie lounge on the second floor, where you can order a delicious alcoholic beverage of your choice and take it into the movie with you!

Food

There is no shortage of delicious places to eat at Bridge Street. If you want something quick, check out Café 153 or Panera. If you’re craving Italian, Bravo! Cucina Italiana opened recently. In more of a Mexican food mood? Try Cantina Laredo, where the guacamole is made right in front of you. And I can personally vouch that The Melting Pot is the perfect date night restaurant. Mom and I were in more of a sweet mood, so we stopped by Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream and Treatery for some delicious ice cream. Yum!

I hope you all enjoyed this video! If you want to see a full list of the shops and restaurants at Bridge Street, click this link HERE. See you next month!

Katie Wright is a southerner, an explorer, a student, and an old lady at heart. She was born and raised in the south, but abandoned her homeland during her early twenties for the allure of places such as New Zealand and Northern England. After completing her studies, she returned to the sweet sunny south and is now an archaeologist by day and a blogger/vlogger by night. Other hobbies include baking, crocheting, researching local history (like I said… old lady), and putting things in her online shopping cart and then never buying them.
